When you plan your wedding at the West Mountain Inn, you’ll work closely with owner Amie Emmons, who brings a lifetime of connection to the Inn and a personal approach to helping couples plan their celebrations.

Amie grew up at the Inn, which her parents, Wes and Mary Ann, founded in 1978. After graduating from college, she lived in Washington, DC, and Palo Alto, California, but always missed the beauty of Vermont. She eventually returned for what she thought would be a temporary stay and took over the Inn in 2006 after her father passed away.

Although Amie never expected to become an innkeeper, she quickly discovered how much she loved it. Today, she combines her deep knowledge of the property with years of wedding planning experience to help couples make the most of everything the West Mountain Inn has to offer.
