The Parsonne

Annmarie (Annie) Alexander-Kramer, The Parsonne…The Vermont Wedding Officiant was born on Long Island, New York, and spent many years summering and going to college in Vermont. Upon moving to Stowe, she began working in all phases of the hospitality industry from host to management. In addition, she developed a design company, Renaissance Interiors, which became Chanticleer Interiors, a custom interior design, antique sales and acquisition business.

In the 1980s she was hired as Assistant Project Manager for the pre-opening phase of The Essex, Essex Junction. Her role included Marketing Coordinator and Corporate Event Planner…from ground breaking to grand opening.

Annie was Honorary Chair of the “Walk America” campaign for Chittenden County March of Dimes. As a board member of the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce, she planned and coordinated two annual membership events.

As an elected Justice of the Peace in Stowe, Annie performed numerous wedding ceremonies over her eight- year tenure, Upon relocating to Central Vermont in 2004, Annie expanded her officiating services by becoming a non-denominational officiant. This afforded her couples both secular and religious ceremonies Annie resides in Williamstown with her husband. Arthur, and is the proud mother of two daughters and four grandbeauties.
