What is your background?
I have worked in a number of different capacities in the non-profit sector for over 30 years. The common thread through all these positions has been creating and coordinating special events. I just love it! I enjoy guiding people through the process and working closely with their florists, caterers and photographers to make sure everything runs smoothly. Working at Shelburne Farms adds a whole other dimension to my job because I know I am helping to support the amazing environmental education programs offered both here on the property and throughout the country.

What do you enjoy about the Vermont wedding industry?
There's a sense of community among all the wedding professionals here in Vermont that I find both exciting and rewarding. Everyone has a common goal - let's make this the best wedding possible. Towards that end I've seen many people go the extra mile to ensure that every detail is just right.
