What is your background?
When I was 13, my brother installed a darkroom in our basement. That's when it all started. After a short amount of time, I was using the darkroom more than my brother! I attended the University of Vermont, earning a degree in Studio Art. While in school, I launched my freelance business. I began as an assistant and doing work for the local newspapers. I have developed other specialties over the years and currently enjoy a diverse workload as a full-time freelance photographer.

How long have you been working in Vermont?
I started my business in Burlington in 2000. My first client was Seven Days, which is an alternative news weekly.

Favorite downtime activity:
Skiing (both downhill and cross-country)

What do you enjoy about the Vermont wedding industry?
I enjoy meeting people: both the people in the wedding and the wedding vcndors. Also, weddings are fun. Someone once told me: ''if you can't enjoy yourself at a wedding, then God help you.'' I tend to agree!
