What is your background? We grew up here in New England and Vermont, met in Colorado, and quickly discovered our shared passion for photography. Since 2000, we have been photographing professionally for a great mix of editorial, commercial, wedding and fine art clients - regularly taking on assignments that take us as far away as the southern Andes, Europe and the high Arctic. Our work is widely published, and our recently images landed on the covers of the Patagonia Catalog, Vermont Life and the New York Times ''Travel'' section. We also enjoy sharing our work through our ongoing photographic exhibits (recently at the Vermont Governor's Office - Aug 2008), multi-media slideshows and workshops. We began shooting weddings in 2001, and to keep our energy and creativity fresh, we schedule a limited number of weddings each year.
How long have you been working in Vermont? 10 years
Favorite downtime activity: Fun with friends and family, backcountry skiing, river paddling, swimming, running, growing/harvesting/storing food.
What do you enjoy about the Vermont wedding industry? Weddings in Vermont tend to be as much a celebration of Vermont's landscape, our people and our culture as they are celebrations of love and family. It is great fun for us to witness and capture these amazing celebrations to the backdrop of Vermont and all that makes it special.
