What is your background?
I was drawn to the art of photography at 14 years old when my father gave me my first camera, an old minolta 35mm. From my sophmore through senior years in high school I was the photo editor of the year book staff. During this time I was responsible for leading a team of 7 photographers and learned about many related aspects of photography including album design, layout, printing, and distribution. Throughout college (UVM) I furthered my studies in b&w photography and developed and printed all of my b&w photos in a dark room I built in my apartment. Since graduating UVM in 1994, I've enjoyed travelling extensively throughout the United States, Central & South America and have been blessed to practice my photography while doing so.

Favorite downtime activity:
Playing guitar and dobro, listening to all kinds of music, sailing, snowboarding, travelling worldwide.

What do you enjoy about the Vermont wedding industry?
Everything, from the beautiful and distinctive wedding sites to the high quality network of vendors, and the wonderful couples and their families who appreciate being here for such an important occasion. The best part is getting to know the people who choose to get married here in Vermont. Vermont offers richness of character and also attracts richness in character. I consider it a huge honor to be there to capture the magic on a couple's wedding day.
