What is your background?
I sailed professionally for 13 years on private and charter yachts and held a 100 ton Masters Captain license. My yacht was support vessel for Conner’s Camp in 1980 Americas Cup. In 1983 I was hired by Hearst Corporation as their VIP Americas cup coordinator. Then, I worked as a Food and Beverage director and Corporate Conference manager for several years at a 4 star Resort.

How long have you been working in Vermont?
Since 1989.

Favorite downtime activity:
Sailing, Golf, Cross-Country Skiing

What do you enjoy about the Vermont wedding industry?
After months or years of planning, I love seeing the event day come together. My greatest satisfaction is when the bride smiles and says, “Thanks for allowing me and my mom to have fun.”
